Antonia Callahan and Amerivest Realty are absolutely awful and some of the most unprofessional folks I’ve dealt with in the entire industry. We made a written offer and tendered it to Ms. Callahan for a real property listing that was active and on which she was the agent of record. While she did respond to confirm that she was the agent of record, she NEVER provided an acceptance, rejection, or counteroffer to us. She simply stopped replying to our inquiries in violation of her ethical guidelines as a Florida-licensed real estate agent. If you are a buyer, we suggest that you Amerivest Realty and particularly Antonia Callahan.

Be aware Josh Emberg, I personally had an experience were he was very misleading! He was only looking for what would benefit his own pocket! When I tried to address the issue he then became defensive, and turned the problem back to me. He tried to make me feel as if the problem was my fault! He made no attempt to fix it or take accountability of his wrong doings. I would not recommend him or trust him!

I am a practicing attorney in Philadelphia. In the fall of 2017, I decided to exploring buying a condo in Florida. I found Ryan Gainer of Amerivest on the internet. We made arrangement for my wife to go down and look at some condos with him, which she did. She liked a particular development and we bid on one condo in the development but did not get it. I asked Ryan about another one in the development that was for sale, which he said was in good shape. We wound up buying it sight unseen as many northerners do. Ryan was our eyes and ears. He failed to tell us that this particular condo backed onto a very busy road. When I came down to close on the condo in December 2017, I was crestfallen as to the location. The other problem was that the inspection had revealed a broken shower pan that was a 5k repair. Had he told me how significant the repair was, I could have opted out of the property or gotten a concession from the seller. I did not learn about the cost of the repair until a few months after the sale. When I tried to contact Ryan about my concerns after I found out the cost of the repair, he would not respond to me. I then contacted his office at Amerivest Realty in Naples. They would do nothing to compensate me or even give me the name of their Errors and Omissions carrier. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

We have bought and sold many properties and Janine Rendano, by far, was the best agent we have ever work with. She arranged for a professional photographer to photograph and video the property which was a tremendous selling asset. Janine was present at every showing and open house. She has great communication skills keeping us informed every step of the way. Her market advice was spot on. Finally, Janine took care of all the little details which took the stress out of selling our property. We highly recommend Janine Rendano if you are looking for a professional to buy or sell property -quick, easy and stress-free.

Carmen Escobar, who works for this realtor, not only stole money from us by keeping our security and accusing us for damages done well before we moved in, but then called our employer and accused us over the phone as well. She is guilty of committing mortgage fraud, not paying property taxes and consistently lies everything and anything. This is only the tip of the iceberg as there's not only evidence to back this up but more. Stay far, far away from this realtor, she will tell you anything in order to take advantage of you.
